Venture Association of New Jersey Holds a monthly (third Tuesday) luncheon forum created to stimulate networking among business founders and managers, equity investors and lenders, executives seeking new positions, professionals whose services are helpful to company managers and founders, and representatives of major corporations. The main speaker is an angel investor, a partner in a venture capital firm, or a successful entrepreneur. Three entrepreneurs have five minutes each to explain their company’s need for capital. During lunch, 125 to 150 attendees mingle, exchange information, and introduce themselves and their businesses to the group. Each year VANJ produces two all day meetings that attract 300 to lunch and 500 to the exhibits: the May Entrepreneurs Expo and in September the Incubator Showcase. VANJ also sponsors the Private Investors Network, LLC a network of New Jersey angel investors. www.vanj.com The
